Yearn is an installation containing a number of emotional vessels that echo the emotional loss of my grandmother and my desire to reclaim intimacy we once had. They were constructed using her clothes that I freighted to Hobart from Singapore.

A life size vessel was created with an opening, allowing a viewer to enter each time. The internal structure physically enclosed viewer with an intimate encounter of the internal. This slightly transparent vessel allows the experience of the external objects like in a celestial space. 

This is another exploration on releasing internal emotions in an imagined space.
