Airmail is a new body of photographic works that translates Chan’s connection about the place and home, though exploring wearable sculptures with the landscape of Tasmanian to develop a series of images. These images presented as an interactive sculpture installation were inspired by the constant exchange between Chan and her sister who resides in Singapore after she relocates to Tasmania in search for a new life.

It aims to deliver an intimate connection through exploring new ways of engaging sculpture objects to deliver empowerment, both using the reflection of personal feelings and the experience of transiting cultural identity.

Chan extends this transformative journey of hers as she eventually mails the written post cards on the behalf of participating viewers.
